Our flagship program cultivates emerging and existing community leaders and builds leadership skills in participants and networking with community leaders to be a value-add to their organization and to the county as a whole.

About Elevate

• Participate in a 9-month program focusing on a leadership theme and community theme.
• Build group cohesion in a 1-day mandatory introductory retreat.
• Attend one 6 ½ hour meeting per month.
• Meet in classes held in locations across Marshall County.
• Integrate Leadership Skills sessions with Networking with Community Leaders.
• Broaden knowledge of and understand the critical issues affecting Marshall County.
• Focus on learning about Self, Others, and the Marshall County Community.
• Complete a community improvement project in small groups.
• Identify individual leadership challenges and create a call to action to enhance skill sets.
• Collaborate with 25-30 cohort members from business, industry, health care, education, and non-profits.

Each class integrates Leadership skills and competencies along with presentations by and conversations with community leaders.   Each participant develops a “Call to Action” and shares their implementation plan with their respective organizations.
